This includes a three-day pre-delivery stay at our facility, supervised delivery of the litter, and care for the mother and pups 24 hours post-delivery. If you would like your neonates to stay here for more than 24 hours, it is $150 per day (we have weekly prorated pricing available as well).
Basic whelping PLUS:
$500 is added to the basic whelping package if any complications arise where the dam must get a c-section
(If available) Post Delivery Care Options:
$700 per week flat rate up to 7 puppies; each additional puppy over 7 puppies is an extra $50 a week.
This price includes early neurological stimulation (ENS), deworming, nail clipping, weekly pupdate pictures. Extra supplies that your puppies/dam need (vet care, feeding a different food than what we feed our puppies, etc) will be the responsibility of the litter owner.

Our Breeding Program
Our breeding program is designed to produce dachshunds that are healthy, happy, and well-adjusted. We carefully select our breeding pairs based on a variety of factors, including health, and conformation. Our pups are raised in a loving and nurturing environment, and we take great care to ensure that they receive the best possible care and socialization. Also, our pups are raised alongside our children.
Our Facilities
Our facilities are designed to provide the dogs with a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment. We have spacious indoor kennels that are in a heated and air-conditioned environment, as well as large outdoor play areas where our pups can run and play. We also have a local veterinary clinic and a team of experienced staff to ensure that our dogs receive the best possible care.

At West Texas Dachshunds, we are committed to breeding healthy, happy puppies that make great family pets. Our breeding program is designed to produce puppies with excellent temperaments and conformation to the breed standard. All of our pups stay with mom for as long as she will allow them to, mom teaches them how to behave.
Socialization
We have a variety of puppies available for adoption. All of our puppies are raised in our home with love and care. They are socialized with children and other pets to ensure they are well-adjusted and ready for their new homes.
Adoption
We want to make sure that every puppy finds the perfect home. That's why we have a thorough adoption process that includes a contract. We have the right to refuse services to anyone. We are always available to answer any questions or concerns you have along the way.
Ongoing support
We value our customers and are committed to providing ongoing support and guidance to our puppy owners. We provide advice on training, nutrition, and any other questions or concerns you may have. We are always available to help.

Vetting
Some of our pups are vet checked before leaving to their new home depending on the circumstance. I will provide the first set of shots, proper deworming, and microchipping for our for our pups.
